THE MOST IMPORTANT AND SIMPLE RULE TO FINANCIAL SUCCESS.
The rule of 72 is a shortcut to estimate the number of years required to double your money at a given annual rate of return. The rule states that you divide the rate, expressed as a percentage into 72.
If annual rate is 12%
72 divided by 12 equals 6
Which means that if your money is earning 12% every year, it will double every 6 years.
If annual rate is 1%
72 divided by 1 equals 72
Which means that if your money is earning 1% every year, it will double every 72 years.
INTEREST is therefore an important factor in growing your money.
Ang tanong ... most of pinoys saang financial instrument/vehicle naglalagay ng pera? SAVINGS ACCOUNT ba? Time Deposit o Coop? at what PERCENT?
We have 7 Trillion pesos in Savings & Time Deposit earning less than 1% . Ibig sabihin, marami pang hindi na e educate about investing.
COMPOUNDING INTEREST is the eight wonder in the world. He who understand it earns it. He who doest pays it. --- Albert Einstein
1. Lend to people (loan)
2. Place in investment vehicles like Mutual Funds
Mutual fund companies give the banks an average 12% annually and if banks give us 1% annually, where is the 11% now? in the banks. So, instead of putting all our money in the bank, why not invest some of it and go directly to Stock Market/Mutual Funds or other investment vehicles that give a higher rate of return?
Banks are good for business transactions and emergency funds but not good for long-term investment especially if your purpose is for retirement, kids education, travel fund, business fund and future medical expenses.
P.S. You can start investing in Mutual Funds for just Php. 1,000.00 or 5,000.00 Only. Depending on the mutual fund company.
Minimum additional investment is Php 1,000.00 (monthly additional investment is not required but is recommended especially for long term investors)

-- professional management
-- accessible at affordable
-- may asset allocation at diversification
-- maaring gumamit ng money cost averaging
-- may liquidity at ang earnings ay tax-free
-- may full transparency pa!
